Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maushu Hietala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnel Pineda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hietala comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - Surfacing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pineda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hietala looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pineda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hietala scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Pineda with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hietala to score with a decent uppercut.
Pineda walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hietala cracks Pineda with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hietala lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hietala.

and Hietala counters with a three punch combo that has Pineda backing up. Pineda nods at Hietala to acknowledge the strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
