The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kong sees it coming and avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kong.
Kong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kong scores with a jab to the body.
Bennett throws a right hand that Kong ducks under and follows up with a left that Kong also avoids with ease.
Kong misses with a kick to the body.
Bennett looks to land a right hand but Kong moved out of range.

Bennett drops Kong with a beautiful combination! Kong stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bennett is looking for the KO!

Kong is rocked!

It looks like Ibe Kong has been cut.
Kong throws a leg kick but Bennett sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kong is still on wobbly legs! Can Bennett finish him?
Kong slips under a jab from Bennett.
Bennett throws a jab but it's blocked by Kong.
Kong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bennett.

Kong seems to have recovered his senses.
Kong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bennett looks to land a combination but Kong avoids it well.
Bennett takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Bennett is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kong's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Bennett walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bennett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bennett steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kong. That one must have hurt.
Bennett is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good leg kick by Kong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Bennett counters with a nice uppercut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kong.
Kong takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kong has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Bennett takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Kong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kong bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bennett's head backwards.
Kong throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Bennett colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Kong as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Bennett is left battered and dazed whilst Kong and his camp cheer!
