Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Nobriga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobriga kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Queen's We Will Rock You. Shepherd has chosen 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celion Dion as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobriga misses with a straight left.
Nobriga scores with a sloppy right hand. Shepherd should have avoided that one.
Shepherd moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Shepherd takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Shepherd is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nobriga cracks Shepherd with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shepherd can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nobriga, as that shot connected.

Shepherd is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nobriga rushes Shepherd with punches - Shepherd moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Shepherd goes down! Nobriga follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
