Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artisan Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Cavalcante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Cavalcante shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Robinson is trying to defend but Cavalcante finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Robinson in particular looking to stall.

Robinson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cavalcante doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Robinson.

Cavalcante really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robinson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cavalcante is squirming around, avoiding Robinson's attempts to control the action.

Robinson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cavalcante to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cavalcante shrugs it off.

Robinson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cavalcante can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Cavalcante tries to lock up and control but Robinson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robinson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Cavalcante tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robinson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Robinson is keen to just control but Cavalcante is a slippery customer.

Robinson moves into full mount! Cavalcante won't be happy about that!
Robinson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cavalcante is looking to escape.

Robinson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cavalcante is on top in guard.
Artisan Robinson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Robinson has his feet on Cavalcante's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Artisan Robinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cavalcante misses with a takedown

and Robinson counters with a takedown into side control.
Robinson works to advance to full mount. Cavalcante defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
