Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Audioslave - Like a Stone as his entrance music. Mike Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Magalhaes. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.
Magalhaes wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him.
Magalhaes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Magalhaes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.

Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Magalhaes tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magalhaes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Magalhaes sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Magalhaes connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Silva tumbling to the canvas! Magalhaes pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Silva was done - good stoppage!
