The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Hall does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jan throws out the jab.
Jan lands a really nice looking cross but Hall seems unphased.

Jan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hall throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jan on the side of the head.

Hall struggles to land a body shot inside as Jan controls his hands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Hall makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hall feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jan's calf.
Good leg kick by Hall there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hall buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hall can pounce on him.

Jan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hall darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Jan avoids a wild elbow strike from Hall.
Hall lands a knee to the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jan.
Jan scores with a shot to the side of Hall's head.
Hall throws an elbow but it misses.
Hall throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hall is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jan is defending well for now.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Hall in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
