Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kraken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharia Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele has chosen Rock You Like A Hurricane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zacharia Steele!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kraken moves out of range of the strikes.
Kraken lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kraken lands a jab to Steele's midsection.
Steele throws a shot to the body.
Steele takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good standup being displayed there by Kraken as he connects with a hook.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kraken has cracked Steele with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kraken lands another huge swinging hook and Steele tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Steele, before Kraken can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mark Kraken!
