Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuai Lai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nozomu Itoshiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lai might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to CKY - Chinese Rap. Itoshiki has chosen Ringo Mogire Beam as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lai avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Itoshiki takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Kuai Lai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lai takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Lai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Itoshiki paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lai takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Lai looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Oh Lai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Itoshiki rattles Lai with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Lai tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Itoshiki dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Lai stiff and motionless on the mat!
