Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Pych (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Gorgeous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pych is defended easily by Gorgeous.

Gorgeous throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pych tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gorgeous is in Pych's guard.

Gorgeous controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Gorgeous is in close to Pych's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Pych looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gorgeous is one step ahead there.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gorgeous lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Gorgeous is working Pych over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gorgeous stands up over Pych, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Gorgeous is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gorgeous keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pych's head.

Oh Pych is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gorgeous really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pych. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gorgeous sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pych's guard.
Pych seems to have got his legs back now.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gorgeous connects with a nice short shot to Pych's temple.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gorgeous lands a nice short elbow.
Gorgeous lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Pych! More strikes land and this one is all over! Gorgeous jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
