Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Turbitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turbitt comes to the cage accompanied by Tool - Schism. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Turbitt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry Romero!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Turbitt circles away.
Romero will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Romero throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Turbitt is looking to clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Turbitt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Romero is trying to defend but Turbitt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Turbitt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Romero manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Turbitt has Romero in his guard.

Romero keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Turbitt's head.

Turbitt can't keep his opponent in guard - Romero advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Romero is working for a kimura but Turbitt is defending it quite comfortably.

Romero is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Turbitt sees it coming and defends easily.
Turbitt is looking for a sweep. Romero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Turbitt is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Romero's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Romero's back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Romero breaks Turbitt's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Romero drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Romero jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Turbitt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Romero looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Romero looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Romero!

Romero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That was a close second round but I would say that Samuel Turbitt will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
