The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cesar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Creed wants to improve his position but Cesar is controlling well.
It looks like Cesar is going to stand back up.
Creed tries to roll over but Cesar keeps him under control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Creed has control of Cesar's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cesar regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Creed swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cesar is now in Creed's guard. A big mistake from Creed there, giving up the dominant position!
