The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Spar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Gonzalez closes the distance and clinches up with Spar, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes Spar against the cage but Spar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Spar has closed the distance and engaged Gonzalez in a clinch.

Spar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gonzalez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Spar drops Gonzalez with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gonzalez! Spar dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
