Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remose A!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by A.

A instigates a clinch.
Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as A walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. A sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A fails in his attempt to clinch.
A slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
A tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A is looking to clinch.
A keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

A wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.

Jackson is looking to take a break and control but A is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A isn't going anywhere.

Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Jackson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
A looks to clinch

and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
A wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position.
Jackson wants to stand but A is controlling his posture from full guard.
A is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea.

Remose A is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
A keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.

Jackson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! A is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! A has escaped and now he's on top!
A is looking to stand up but Jackson won't let him.
A stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson.

Jackson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and A defends well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A wants to stand but Jackson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jackson wants to control but A passes easily into half guard.
A trying to mount his opponent but Jackson defends it.
Jackson manages to get to full guard.
A scoring with punches to the head and body.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jackson controls A momentarily but A frees himself.
Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
A is trying to get back to full guard.
A wants to control but Jackson passes into side.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if A can do anything to dispel that myth.
A tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jackson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but A keeps working.

Jackson is trying to get an arm triangle but A is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Jackson dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


A tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings A.
A wants to clinch but Jackson slips to the side

and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
A is looking to improve his position.
A is trying to stand back up but Jackson is controlling him
A really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
A is not content to let Jackson control the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A keeping control of the position.

Jackson seems to be working for a kimura but A defends the submission attempt.

Jackson wants to work for an arm triangle but A is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
A keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jack Jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
A is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back!
A doesn't have the hooks in and Jackson manages to turn into his guard.
A looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jackson is one step ahead there.

Remose A has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jackson wants to control from the top but A keeps moving.
Jack Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Remose A.
A tries to clinch up

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into side control. A won't be happy with that.

Jackson takes a little break here. A wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
A tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jackson wants to take a breather but A manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Jackson.
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jack Jackson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
