Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loki Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loki Andersen acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hughes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A combination from Andersen does no damage.
Andersen fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hughes has managed to clinch.

Andersen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hughes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Andersen to the mat! Andersen manages to get full guard.
Hughes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Andersen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Andersen wants to stand but Hughes is controlling the position.
Hughes works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hughes moves nicely into side control.
Andersen is trying to control Hughes's posture but Hughes avoids it.

Hughes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Andersen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hughes has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Hughes is looking to work his way around to Andersen's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Andersen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Andersen is looking to improve his position but Hughes isn't that keen on the idea.

Hughes working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Hughes jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Andersen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Andersen and Hughes has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Andersen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hughes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Andersen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Andersen prevents Hughes from moving into mount.
Andersen is pushing Hughes's head away, looking to escape. Hughes manages to hold on to the position though.

Andersen has left one of his arms exposed and Hughes doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Andersen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
