PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and uno dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by The Way Of The Fist. On his way into the cage it seems that Rich Anderson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rich Anderson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, uno dance!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but dance swivels and escapes.
Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Anderson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

dance tries for a takedown but Anderson circles away easily

and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in dance's guard.

Anderson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Anderson drops back looking for a leg! dance is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and dance manages to kick Anderson off! Anderson jumps back into dance's guard.

Anderson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Anderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anderson showed some decent athleticism there.

Anderson is working for a kimura here but dance manages to reverse the position and he's now in Anderson's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by uno dance.

Anderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in dance's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


dance leaves Anderson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Anderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. dance sprawls well initially but Anderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Anderson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. dance tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Anderson!
