The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomes was well out of range. Poor timing from Hardy.
Gomes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gomes moves into full mount! Hardy won't be happy about that!
Hardy tries to buck Gomes off but he can't manage it.
Gomes is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hardy is forced to tap! Great finish!
