The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kosketalo.
Kosketalo throws a right hand that Maynard ducks under and follows up with a left that Maynard also avoids with ease.

Maynard lands a big head kick that sends Kosketalo tumbling to the mat! Maynard takes a step backwards and waves Kosketalo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kosketalo is rocked!

Maynard thumps Kosketalo with a low kick.

Kosketalo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Maynard.
Maynard lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Kosketalo crumples to the floor! Maynard milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
