Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jari xera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thor Hammer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with jari xera's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but xera swivels and escapes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hammer.
Hammer has a takedown stuffed.
jari xera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thor Hammer.
xera slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Thor Hammer has been cut.
Hammer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
xera tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hammer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hammer dives in and grabs xera's left leg, looking for a takedown. xera pushes down on Hammer's head and hops out.

Nice sprawl there from xera as Hammer shoots in.
Hammer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming xera to the mat! xera manages to get full guard.
xera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hammer defends well.
xera not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hammer throws a strike but xera rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
xera missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
xera trying to control the position from guard on top but Hammer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammer wants to stand and escape but xera is having none of it.
xera drops back looking for a leg! Hammer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hammer manages to kick xera off! xera jumps back into Hammer's guard.

xera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
xera wants to control from the top but Hammer keeps moving.

Hammer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst xera is controlling him.

jari xera has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts xera as he jumps to the side.
Hammer dives in and grabs xera's left leg, looking for a takedown. xera pushes down on Hammer's head and hops out.
xera plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

xera moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hammer avoids the body shot from xera.
xera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
xera lands with an overhand left.

xera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
xera cracks Hammer with a good jab.
xera throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
xera misses with a hook. Hammer ducked under it nicely.

jari xera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
xera throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hammer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. xera is in Hammer's guard.
Hammer is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and xera dives into side control.
xera tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hammer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
xera misses with a double jab.
Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around xera's waist but xera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side.

xera goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
xera lands with a kick to the temple. Hammer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Hammer tries to keep at a distance but xera has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hammer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but xera pulls him back up using the underhooks.
xera unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hammer lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
xera lands an elbow inside that Hammer shrugs off.
That has opened up Thor Hammer's cut even more.
xera creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hammer's defenses.
Hammer goes for a takedown in the clinch but xera prevents it.

Hammer is breathing heavily.
xera is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

xera is looking to control Hammer's arms but Hammer gets an underhook and turns him. Now xera has his back to the cage.
Hammer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
xera is pushing Hammer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
xera scores a nice knee to the body.
xera is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Hammer takes an elbow to the forehead.
The referee is keeping an eye on xera - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by jari xera.

xera displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hammer.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
xera lands a head kick!
The cut above Thor Hammer's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
xera throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hammer shoots in looking for a takedown but xera manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hammer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A nice glancing elbow lands by xera.
Hammer takes an elbow to the temple.
Thor Hammer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
xera is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. xera obliges.
xera lands an elbow inside that Hammer shrugs off.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thor Hammer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
