Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ransom Metz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Rolfes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Metz's entrance music is Not Afraid. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Ransom Metz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ransom Metz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolfes scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Metz wants to clinch.
Rolfes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Rolfes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Metz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rolfes is on top in guard.
Metz wants to sweep here but Rolfes controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rolfes wants to control from the top but Metz keeps moving.
Rolfes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Rolfes tries to free his leg and advance position but Metz is retaining full guard.
Rolfes slips nicely into half guard.
Rolfes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Metz!

Metz wants to control but Rolfes is having none of it.

Rolfes goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Metz turns into him and now he's in Rolfes's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rolfes holds on and takes a little breather.

Rolfes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Metz is aware though and is defending well.
Metz wants to pass the guard but Rolfes is keeping the position.
Rolfes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Metz is controlling him.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Metz looking to sit in guard and control but Rolfes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Metz pushes Rolfes off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
