Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor comes to the cage accompanied by ac/dc- war machine. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Connor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
Connor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Connor's guard.

Connor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva wants to stand and escape but instead Connor has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Connor throws and elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Connor's guard. Nice move by Silva!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Connor is pulling down on Silva's head. It's preventing any offense from Silva, at least for the moment.
Silva wants to control from the top but Connor keeps moving.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Connor holds on and takes a little breather.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Connor pushes Silva off and gets back to his feet.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Connor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Connor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Connor getting side control.
Connor winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Connor passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva!
