Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borgato defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Akari.
Borgato explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Good leg kick by Borgato there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Akari is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An inside leg kick lands from Borgato.
Borgato throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Borgato lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A punch lands to the side of Akari 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Borgato, as that shot connected.

Borgato cracks Akari with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Borgato has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Akari to stand back up!
Borgato ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Akari out cold! The fight is over!
