Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Theodore Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriel Black!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Black tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fisher was well out of range. Poor timing from Black.
Black throws a series of strikes that have Fisher backpedaling.
Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.

Fisher tries to keep at a distance but Black has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fisher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Black pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fisher misses with a looping left.
Black bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fisher's head.
Fisher misses with a low kick.
Black thumps Fisher with a low kick.
Fisher takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Theodore Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fisher throws a lazy right hand but Black sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fisher misses with a leg kick

and Black counters by clinching up.

Black breaks the clinch.
Fisher ducks right into an uppercut from Black.
Fisher scores with a body shot.
Black connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fisher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Black counters with a right hand to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fisher lands a right hook to the body.
Black scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fisher doesn't seem bothered though.
Fisher throws a left and a right that both miss
and Black counters with a nice uppercut.
Fisher is breathing heavily.
Fisher misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Black.
Fisher throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.
Black digs a good hook to Fisher's body.

Black closes the distance and clinches.

Black breaks the clinch.

Black changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fisher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Black works to advance to full mount. Fisher defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Black takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Black lands a heavy elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black looking to control and managing it successfully.
Let's hope that Black has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Black working for a submission but Fisher is keeping him at bay.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Black with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Black jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fisher manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Fisher is trying to control Black's posture but Black avoids it.
Black happy to just control the position for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Fisher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Black controls the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fisher is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Black has an Americana. Fisher didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Black is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Black hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
