Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fedel Castio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chop Shuey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Fedel Castio has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castio tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Shuey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Castio cracks the inside of Shuey's front leg.

Castio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Castio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shuey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Shuey gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Shuey is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Castio pulls his head out easily.

Shuey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Castio sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fedel Castio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chop Shuey.

and Shuey counters with a shoot takedown. Castio fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shuey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Castio swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shuey has gone for a leg lock! Castio slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shuey's guard.

Shuey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Castio defends it easily.
