The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Youngblood did well to prevent Walker getting side control.
Youngblood has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walker is working away from the top position though.
Youngblood is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Walker pulls his head out easily.
Walker is looking to take a break and control but Youngblood is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Walker moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Youngblood.

Walker blocks the strikes from Youngblood.
Youngblood takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Youngblood trying to remain calm as Walker controls from the top position.
