Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Bismol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cane Gairzinio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bismol comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes The Pain. Cane Gairzinio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bismol checks a low kick from Gairzinio.
Gairzinio wants to clinch.
Gairzinio tries a low kick but Bismol avoids it.

Bismol looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gairzinio!

Bismol has hold of Gairzinio's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gairzinio manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gairzinio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bismol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bismol wants to control the pace but Gairzinio is squirming around nicely.

Gairzinio feints and then cracks Bismol's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bismol down.
Bismol lands a really nice looking cross but Gairzinio seems unphased.
Bismol will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Gairzinio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bismol, pushing him back against the cage.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Gairzinio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gairzinio will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gairzinio is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Bismol is in big trouble! Gairzinio is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Bismol. Poor guy.
