Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucius Lyoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esko Morko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyoto comes to the cage accompanied by Walk. Morko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cannibal Corpse - Make Them Suffer. Lucius Lyoto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morko looks to land a combination but Lyoto avoids it well.
Nice sprawl there from Lyoto as Morko shoots in.
Morko shoots in for a takedown but Lyoto shows good takedown defense.
Lyoto throws and low kick but Morko moves out of range easily.
Morko throws a right and a left that Lyoto avoids nicely.
Esko Morko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lyoto moves into the clinch.
Morko gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Morko lands a nice short elbow.

and Lyoto counters with a single leg into guard. Morko didn't expect that.
Lyoto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lyoto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Morko is working an open guard so Lyoto takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Lyoto counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lucius Lyoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Esko Morko.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Lucius Lyoto will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lyoto feints and as Morko raises his hands in defense, Lyoto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Morko has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lyoto celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
