Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Potato Head Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunne comes to the cage accompanied by Nopsajalka - Johnny Kidd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Dunne!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Potato Head Bob!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bob scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dunne takes one to the side of the head.
Bob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dunne manages to avoid it.
Bob takes a swing at Dunne's ribcage but misses.
Bob missing with a left hand there. Dunne was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dunne tries to clinch but Bob is having none of it.
Bob throws out a loose jab but Dunne uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dunne clinches up with Bob and pushes him back against the cage.
Dunne has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bob is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bob is looking to break free of the clinch but Dunne has double underhooks.
Dunne misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bob tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bob struggles to land a body shot inside as Dunne controls his hands.

Dunne gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Dunne stalling away here and it's allowed Bob to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Dunne wants to pass the guard but Bob is keeping the position.

Dunne trying to control but Bob is working from the bottom.
Dunne not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dunne uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bob.
Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dunne takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bob swings for the body but Dunne moves out of range.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
and Dunne moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bob blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Dunne's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Bob misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bob is pressed up against the cage. Dunne has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bob down to the mat. Bob avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bob misses with a wild body shot.
Bob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A cross from Dunne lands.

Bob lands a nice hook to Dunne's body. Dunne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Dunne shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dunne is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bob can't escape the position.
Bob is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Bob is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Dunne postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bob looks a forlorn figure.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bob's corner calls for a 1-2. Bob obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
