The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watterson scores with a kick to the body.
Watterson lands a lovely overhand right.
Caio Terra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watterson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Terra fails with the takedown.
Watterson throws a low kick but Terra moves out of range easily.

Terra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Terra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Watterson is just riding it out for now. Terra eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Watterson is trying to stand up here but Terra is controlling him well.
Terra is trying to work for a kimura but Watterson is defending well.
Watterson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Terra takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Watterson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Terra seems to have got his legs back now.
A head kick from Watterson lands but Terra takes it in his stride.
Terra takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Watterson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Watterson slaps away a takedown attempt from Terra, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Terra shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Watterson but Watterson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Terra stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Watterson.
Terra tries to move into range but Watterson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
