Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yumi Goro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samir Oheat!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Oheat as he checks the leg kick.
Goro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Goro keeps the fight on the outside.
Goro moves into range and clinches up with Oheat.
Goro scores with a shoulder strike.
A short right from Goro.
Oheat wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Goro lands with a left to the head.
Oheat tries to break free but Goro pushes him back against the cage.
Goro throws a head punch that misses.
Oheat has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Goro manages to break the clinch.
Goro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Goro scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Goro tries to clinch but Oheat moves out of range.
Goro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Oheat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goro as he jumps to the side.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goro throws a head kick but Oheat moves out of range.
Goro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oheat looks gassed!
A chopping leg kick lands by Goro.
Goro throws a quick inside leg kick.
Goro cracks Oheat with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Oheat looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Goro finish him?
Oheat is rocked!
It looks like Samir Oheat has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oheat is still on wobbly legs! Can Goro finish him?
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Goro throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Oheat is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yumi Goro!
