Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Howe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge St Piere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge St Piere struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Howe misses.
Howe shoots in but St Piere avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Howe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as St Piere throws out the jab.

St Piere tries to sprawl but Howe drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Howe is stalling here. St Piere is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Howe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and St Piere has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A big strike lands for Howe! That's really hurt St Piere and he's turned his back - Howe keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Howe jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
