Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Vallely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer's entrance music is American Badass. A fine choice. Vallely has chosen CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music. Mike Vallely told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Vallely takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Vallely!
Vallely keeps the fight on the outside.
Vallely lands a really nice looking cross but Archer seems unphased.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Archer is defended easily by Vallely.
Archer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vallely drives through and clinches with Archer against the cage.
Archer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Archer cracks Vallely with a nice body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Archer lands a shot to the body.
Archer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vallely avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Archer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vallely gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Archer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Archer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vallely uses from the top position.

Vallely really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Archer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Archer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vallely gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Archer looking for a triangle here. Vallely is fighting it but it looks tight! Archer pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Vallely is tapping out - this one is all over!
