The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
belle gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from gracie is defended easily by Reyes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for belle gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reyes lands with a thumping leg kick.
gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reyes but Reyes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reyes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten gracie somewhat.
