Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guido Valutekitaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sagat might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to His own theme music. The crowd seem to be enjoying Valutekitaja's choice of entrance music: PIzazz - Gonna Give It To Ya!. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat looks to throw the jab but Valutekitaja is out of range.
Valutekitaja throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sagat's waist but Sagat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Valutekitaja off to one side.
Sagat throws a wild body kick that Valutekitaja sees coming a mile off.
Valutekitaja fails with a takedown attempt.
Sagat connects with a high kick.
It looks like Guido Valutekitaja has been cut.
Valutekitaja shoots for a takedown but Sagat saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Victor Sagat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guido Valutekitaja.
Valutekitaja misses with a head kick.
Valutekitaja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sagat as he avoids it easily.
Sagat lands a front kick.
Valutekitaja shoots for a double leg takedown but Sagat sprawls well. He's pushed Valutekitaja's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sagat throws a head kick that half lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sagat thuds his shin into the meat of Valutekitaja's side.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sagat.
Sagat lands with a slapping head kick.
Sagat dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Valutekitaja avoids a kick to the body.
Guido Valutekitaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valutekitaja shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sagat pinned against the cage. Sagat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Valutekitaja tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sagat swivels and escapes.
No joy there for Valutekitaja, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Valutekitaja takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Valutekitaja tries to bum rush Sagat with a series of wild strikes but Sagat uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sagat throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Valutekitaja.
Sagat misses with a kick to the body.
Sagat blocks a head kick by Valutekitaja.
Sagat throws a head kick that misses.
Valutekitaja is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sagat is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Valutekitaja.
Valutekitaja tries to bum rush Sagat with a series of wild strikes but Sagat uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sagat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Valutekitaja shoots in but Sagat avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sagat pushes Valutekitaja away with a front kick.
Sagat scoring well with a low kick there.
Sagat tries a head kick but it misses.
Valutekitaja takes the fight into the clinch.
Sagat tries a knee to the head but Valutekitaja blocks it.
Valutekitaja has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sagat uses from the top position.
Valutekitaja wants to sweep here but Sagat controlling him for the moment.
Valutekitaja is looking for a triangle but Sagat pushes his legs off easily.

Valutekitaja quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sagat has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Valutekitaja celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
