And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thiago Silva!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva tries to score with a low kick but Liddell moves his leg out of the way.

and Silva counters with a leg kick.
Silva motions for Liddell to come forward. Silva throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Silva counters with a nice low kick that buckles Liddell's knee momentarily.
Liddell feints with a jab and clips Silva right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Silva is sent crashing into the canvas and Liddell leaps in for the kill! Silva tries to get to his feet but Liddell is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Silva is in need of a savior and steps in!
