Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nsir Vlum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric the hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vlum comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - What I've Done. Nsir Vlum had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric the hammer!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vlum tries to sprawl but the hammer drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Vlum pushes the hammer off looking to stand but the hammer dives back in and keeps control.
the hammer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vlum's head.
Vlum wants to get back to full guard.
Vlum is looking to control the hammer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vlum avoid being mounted?
Vlum preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nsir Vlum just wasn't active enough.

the hammer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vlum's half guard.
Vlum won't allow the hammer to pass to mount.
the hammer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vlum keeps working.
Vlum is controlling the hammer's trapped leg to prevent the hammer from advancing to side control.

Vlum tries to roll over but the hammer keeps him under control.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nsir Vlum.
Vlum stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vlum wants it to stay on the feet.

the hammer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Vlum!
Vlum prevents the hammer from taking his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
the hammer wants to control the pace but Vlum is squirming around nicely.
the hammer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Vlum?
Vlum tries to hold on but the hammer postures up.

A nice elbow there by the hammer.
Vlum is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Vlum wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by the hammer.
Vlum trying desperately to get to his feet.

the hammer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Vlum is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Vlum and the hammer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

the hammer wants to control but Vlum is keeping him busy.

the hammer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Vlum manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Vlum content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Vlum's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Vlum is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and the hammer defends it well.
the hammer is looking to improve his position.
Vlum is taking a breather. the hammer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric the hammer dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A nice leg kick lands there from Vlum.
the hammer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vlum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten the hammer somewhat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Vlum keeps the hammer at a distance using the push kick.
Nice shot lands for Vlum.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vlum is looking to slow the hammer down with leg kicks.
Vlum throws a nice outside leg kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vlum - that will leave a mark!

Vlum knocks the hammer to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

the hammer is rocked!
Vlum will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
the hammer seems a little lost for a moment, as Vlum dominates the positioning.

Vlum looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Vlum takes a little break here. the hammer wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

the hammer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Vlum just content to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vlum trying to control the action but the hammer is working from the bottom.
Vlum is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt the hammer will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Vlum has hold of the hammer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! the hammer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vlum cranks the arm and the hammer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from the hammer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
