Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Uy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uy comes to the cage accompanied by My Way - Frank Sinatra. Stone comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I like BEER! Tom T. Hall kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Keith Stone will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Stone cracks Uy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Uy closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Uy pushes Stone against the cage but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Uy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Stone connects with a right hand. Uy shakes it off.
A swing and a miss from Stone.
Stone lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stone keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Uy looks for a takedown but Stone sprawls well.
Stone cracks Uy with an open hand slap.

Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stone is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Uy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
A jab from Stone finds it's way through Uy's defenses.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Uy moves away.
Stone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Uy's guard.

Stone postures up in Uy's guard and throws a big left but Uy blocks it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Uy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Uy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice straight punches there by Stone. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stone.

Uy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stone checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Stone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Uy manages to avoid it.

and Stone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Stone counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Uy!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uy is in a horrible position here. Stone smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
