Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Betoligo Fomatcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fomatcho keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jon misses with a wild combination.
Jon throws an overhand right that lands on Fomatcho's shoulder, as Fomatcho tries to avoid the shot.
Fomatcho tries to keep at a distance but Jon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jon lands with a short shot to the head.
Fomatcho is trying to break the clinch but Jon is controlling him.
Fomatcho breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jon punishes Fomatcho's body with a nice straight punch.

Kyle Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Fomatcho throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fomatcho shoots in and drives through. Jon sprawls well.

Jon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Fomatcho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Betoligo Fomatcho has been cut.
Fomatcho is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Fomatcho counters with a nice body kick.
Jon misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fomatcho closes the distance and clinches up with Jon, looking for a takedown. Fomatcho pushes Jon against the cage but Jon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jon looks to throw the jab but Fomatcho is out of range.
Fomatcho moves away from the strike by Jon.
Jon scores with a sloppy right hand. Fomatcho should have avoided that one.
Jon lands a jab to the nose.

Betoligo Fomatcho's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Fomatcho counters with a head kick. That will keep Jon thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Fomatcho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jon was covering up waiting for the punch and Fomatcho finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jon uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jon throws a hook but Fomatcho avoids it easily.
Jon tries to clinch there but Fomatcho circles away.
Jon avoids the head kick by Fomatcho.
Jon jabs Fomatcho right on the nose. Fomatcho blinks but takes it well.

Jon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fomatcho was well out of range. Poor timing from Jon.
Fomatcho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jon.
Horrible takedown by Fomatcho or perhaps it was just good defense by Jon which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Betoligo Fomatcho. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jon misses with a few strikes there.
A telegraphed right hand from Jon misses the target.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Jon dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jon throws a lazy right hand but Fomatcho sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jon thuds his right hand into Fomatcho's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fomatcho fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jon is out of range.
Betoligo Fomatcho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fomatcho.
Fomatcho shoots in for a takedown but Jon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jon just misses with a punch to the body.
Jon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nice uppercut there from Jon.
Fomatcho takes one to the chin there.
Jeez, Betoligo Fomatcho's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jon lands a left and a right that send Fomatcho crashing to the mat, dazed. Jon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Betoligo Fomatcho's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
