Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Beefheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeke Houk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beefheart comes to the cage accompanied by Yellow Snow. Houk has chosen Hell's Bell's as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Beefheart is pushing Houk up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Beefheart drops back, looking for a kneebar! Houk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Houk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Houk!
Beefheart is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Houk has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Beefheart is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Houk's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Houk is stalling here. Beefheart is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Houk seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Beefheart has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beefheart tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beefheart has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well Beefheart has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
