Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Nabeatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Aguinaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nabeatu comes into the arena with Era - Enae Volare Mezzo blaring out of the sound system. Aguinaldo has chosen Tools Of The Trade as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nabeatu has a takedown stuffed.
Aguinaldo throws a right and a left that Nabeatu avoids nicely.
Karl Aguinaldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aguinaldo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Aguinaldo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nabeatu throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Karl Aguinaldo has been cut.
Aguinaldo throws a series of punches but Nabeatu avoids them all with ease.
Aguinaldo misses with a two punch combination.
Aguinaldo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Aguinaldo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nabeatu.
Aguinaldo throws a right hand that Nabeatu ducks under and follows up with a left that Nabeatu also avoids with ease.
Nabeatu moves into the clinch.
Nabeatu lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Aguinaldo is trying to drag Nabeatu to the mat but Nabeatu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Nabeatu breaks the clinch.

Nabeatu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nabeatu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nabeatu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nabeatu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Aguinaldo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nabeatu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aguinaldo keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nabeatu has hold of Aguinaldo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Aguinaldo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Nabeatu cranks the arm and Aguinaldo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Aguinaldo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Igor Nabeatu!
