Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Byron Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dew Rain!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rain changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harrison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Harrison tries to buck Rain off but Rain is having none of it.
Rain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harrison keeps working.
Rain creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Harrison sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Rain throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Harrison wants to control but Rain postures up.
Harrison on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Harrison tries to get out of the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rain throws a strike but Harrison rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rain drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rain drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harrison dives on top into guard.
Rain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harrison's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harrison sprawls well. Harrison wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rain gets slowly back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rain moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dew Rain has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rain is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Harrison still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Harrison has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rain lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Harrison!
Harrison wants to hold on but Rain pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rain moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Harrison has worked his arm free - good work by Harrison!

Dew Rain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rain has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
