Lambose comes to the cage accompanied by Super Mario Song. Bernie Bridges will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Lambose looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lambose takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bridges throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nick Lambose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bridges ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lambose moves away.

Lambose closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
