Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Tysooni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simo Kuassimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tysooni kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cantina Song. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Simo Kuassimo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tysooni lands a head kick. Kuassimo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Simo Kuassimo has been cut.
Kuassimo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kuassimo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tysooni finds it's way round the side to connect with Kuassimo's head.

Kuassimo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tysooni is defending well for now.

Kuassimo throws a sloppy head kick and Tysooni moves out of range easily.

Kuassimo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tysooni's calf.
Kuassimo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Kuassimo throws a leg kick which misses Tysooni's front leg but catches the back leg as Tysooni tries to avoid it.
Tysooni takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kuassimo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good leg kick by Kuassimo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tysooni is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Tysooni has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kuassimo finds it's way round the side to connect with Tysooni's head.
Kuassimo delivers a nice body kick.

Kuassimo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Tysooni takes one to the chin there.
Tysooni will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Tysooni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
