Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Atreides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Ramsay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atreides's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, HERE WE GOOOOO!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ramsay's choice of entrance music: Can't Be Stopped. Badr Ramsay told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramsay throws a head kick that Atreides semi-blocks.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Atreides crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ramsay - the referee stops the clock and Atreides gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ramsay. Atreides manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Atreides will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Ramsay drops back looking for a leg! Atreides is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Atreides manages to kick Ramsay off! Ramsay jumps back into Atreides's guard.
Ramsay is pushing down on Atreides's leg trying to pass to half guard. Atreides is fighting to maintain full guard but Ramsay has managed to sneak the leg through.

Atreides manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ramsay's guard. Nice work there by Atreides.
Ramsay wants to get back to his feet but Atreides is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Atreides drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ramsay looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ramsay looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ramsay!

Atreides sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Ramsay uses his free foot to push down on Atreides's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Atreides.
Atreides tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ramsay wants to take Atreides's back here but Atreides is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Badr Ramsay is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Atreides working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Ramsay has passed into half guard!

I would just about give that final round to Badr Ramsay.
Well Ramsay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
