The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boeg fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gattuso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boeg manages to avoid it.
Gattuso shoots in for a takedown but Boeg shows good takedown defense.
Gattuso misses with the combination.
Gattuso lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boeg circles away quickly and effectively.
Boeg moves forwards but Gattuso connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Urban Boeg has been cut.

Boeg closes the distance and pushes Gattuso back into the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gattuso jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Boeg walks away with a smile on his face. Gattuso gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boeg is pressed up against the cage. Gattuso has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Boeg down to the mat. Boeg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gattuso uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boeg has time to react.

Gattuso has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Boeg avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gattuso connects with a nice short shot to Boeg's temple.

Gattuso stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Gattuso lands a left and a right that sends Boeg crashing to the canvas! Gattuso dives into mount looking to finish!
