Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by Aint no sunshine. Franco has chosen Clobberin Time as his entrance music. Keith Franco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Franco thows a body shot but no joy.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Franco, right into the meat.
Good work by Penn as he checks the leg kick.
Nice body punch from Penn.
Penn cracks Franco with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Franco misses with an uppercut. Penn saw that one coming.
Penn tries a head kick but it misses.
Penn getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Franco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Franco looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Penn, as that shot connected.
Penn checks a leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Penn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Penn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Franco on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Franco throws a right and a left that both miss.
Franco digs a good hook to Penn's body.
Penn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Penn punishes Franco's body with a nice straight punch.
Franco blocks a head kick by Penn.
Penn pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Penn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Franco looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Franco looks gassed!
Penn fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Franco is out of range.
Penn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franco moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Penn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Penn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Franco.
Penn lands a body shot.
Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Franco was well out of range. Poor timing from Penn.
Penn sizes up Franco with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A jab lands there for Penn.

Penn darts in and clinches Franco up against the cage.

Penn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
DJ Penn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Franco takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Penn lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Penn.

Penn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Franco's sensitive parts.
Franco shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Franco moves out of range of the body kick from Penn.
Franco takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Penn lands a glancing blow to the side of Franco's head.
Franco swats away the attempt to clinch by Penn.

Penn cracks Franco with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Penn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Franco momentarily.

Franco is rocked!
Penn fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Franco to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Franco looks to clinch but Penn throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Franco taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
