The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Whitelaw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Whitelaw which made him look bad.
Whitelaw connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Whitelaw dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Whitelaw dodges the punch combination from Gracie.
Gracie moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Royce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Whitelaw throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily.
Whitelaw fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gracie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Whitelaw tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Whitelaw lands the left hand.
Whitelaw tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gracie takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Whitelaw defends it nicely.
