Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible, by Disturbed. Jackson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Patiently Waiting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jackson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Quick shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
Quick shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well.
Jackson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Quick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Quick.
Quick misses with a wild body shot.

Quick shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Quick shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Quick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Quick is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
