Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Craik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Craik!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craik misses with a straight left.
Craik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ali sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ali scores with a sloppy right hand. Craik should have avoided that one.
Good standup being displayed there by Ali as he connects with a hook.
A jab from Craik misses.
Craik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ali as he jumps to the side.
Craik tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jab, jab by Ali - just one landing.
Ali swings for the body but Craik moves out of range.
Craik will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ali lands with a nice combination. Craik backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Jason Craik has been cut.
Craik throws a right and a left that both miss.
Craik shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Craik is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ali.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Craik is defended easily by Ali.
Jesus Ali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Craik.
Ali misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice defenses there by Ali.
Ali misses with a few strikes there.

Ali throws a nice looking combination but Craik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Ali counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Craik looks gassed!
Craik looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ali throws a one two combo.
Jesus Ali is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Craik misses with a shot to the body
and Ali counters with a straight right hand.
That has opened up Jason Craik's cut even more.
Craik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ali.
Ali fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Craik on the side of the head.
Craik swings for the body but Ali moves out of range.
Ali bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Craik's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ali drops Craik with a beautiful combination! Craik stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ali is looking for the KO!
Craik is rocked!
Ali scores with a hook to the body. Craik takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ali cracks Craik with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The cut above Jason Craik's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ali dances in with a quick combination. Craik is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ali snaps Craik's head back. Craik stumbles backwards against the cage. Ali steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Craik's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Craik just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jesus Ali!
