Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gray Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LieHarder Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maynard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Madcon Beggin. LieHarder Machete will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard scores with a shot to the body.
Machete shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maynard pinned against the cage. Maynard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Machete fails with a takedown attempt.

Maynard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Machete sprawls well initially but Maynard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maynard thows a huge punch but Machete dodges it nicely.
Maynard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Machete keeps working.
Machete is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Machete has hold of Maynard's hands but Maynard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Maynard wants to take a breather but Machete is having none of it.
Machete tries to kick Maynard off but Maynard keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Maynard shoots in and bounces Machete off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Gray Maynard just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maynard connects with a nice short shot to Machete's temple.
Maynard is keen to just control but Machete is a slippery customer.
Maynard perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Maynard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machete on the ground.
