Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mister JJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Stark has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mister JJ's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JJ looks to land a combination but Stark avoids it well.
Stark blocks a leg kick.
Stark looks to score with a jab to the body but JJ is just out of range.
JJ shoots in for a double leg but Stark sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A telegraphed right hand from Stark misses the target.
JJ shoots in looking for a takedown. Stark tries to sprawl out of it but JJ keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but JJ was well out of range. Poor timing from Stark.
JJ tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A slow jab from Stark misses its intended target.
JJ misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stark misses the shot to the body.
Stark just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stark. JJ does a little dance to reset his feet.

JJ shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Stark is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. JJ is aware though and is defending well.

Stark looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Stark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but JJ can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Stark wants to clinch up but JJ keeps it at a distance.
Stark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
JJ ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
JJ throws a head kick that misses.

JJ misses with the combination.
JJ lands with a right hand.

JJ drives through with a takedown into guard.
JJ lands a couple of elbows.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stark looking for a guillotine here but JJ defends easily.
Stark controls JJ momentarily but JJ frees himself.

Stark looking to hit a scissor sweep but JJ is one step ahead there.
JJ throwing strikes but missing.
JJ forces his way into half guard.
JJ seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stark does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
JJ is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stark is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Stark is looking to control JJ's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stark avoid being mounted?

JJ is looking for a kimura but Stark is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for JJ to get the leverage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stark gets back to full guard.
JJ working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Stark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. JJ gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
JJ keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stark's head.
Stark working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from JJ.
Stark looking for a sweep. Not yet Stark, not yet.
JJ trying to control the position from guard on top but Stark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stark looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stark controls JJ momentarily but JJ frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mister JJ dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

JJ lands a nice looking body shot.
A swing and a miss from Stark.
Mister JJ is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
JJ wants to clinch up but Stark keeps it at a distance.
JJ looks to score with a jab to the body but Stark is just out of range.
Stark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stark is on the wrong end of a nice combination from JJ.

It looks like Tony Stark has been cut.
Stark avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Stark avoids a punch combination nicely.
JJ misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Stark looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for JJ!
JJ is working to get back to half guard.
JJ really wants to buck Stark off and get back to his feet.

JJ can't escape the position.
A nice elbow there by Stark.
Stark scores with a couple of good head shots there.
You get the feeling that JJ really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Stark scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish JJ?
JJ is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Stark lands a heavy elbow.
JJ tries to hold on but Stark pushes him away.
Stark putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

JJ is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
JJ wants to control but Stark is having none of it.
Oh JJ is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stark loads up with a big shot that hurts JJ! He's pulled Stark in close but Stark has postured up and lands more strikes. Can JJ survive? More strikes from Stark and JJ is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
